I bought this set about 6 years ago when upgrading my home theater (on a budget of course). I got them for about $100 on ebay . I have not been disappointed at all obviously since I am reviewing them after that much time has passed. I don’t have the sub so I can’t speak for it, my set is paired with a 12″ 300w JBL sub pushed by a yamaha 6.1 receiver. The have been impressive enough that my brother who lived with me when they were initially purchased bought a set for himself when we no longer lived together. He sold me his center channel to complete my 6.1 since he already had a nice polk C.C. Sound quality far exceeded my expectations at the time of purchase. Construction is rock solid although the laminate seems like it could potentially be damaged (mine never has). The only problem I have ever had is one of the decals came off of the left front tower a little super glue fixed that for good! Overall I have been very pleased, these still make up my home theater even with advances since that time and a now larger budget. The T-rex lived for millions of years, I don’t forsee an extinction level event for this set anytime soon!

I was a little nervous at first ordering speakers online. But I am not dissapointed, they arrived promptly, they have an excellent sound, and the price cannot be beat. There are no better speakers for the price.
